Education and Training

Training begins at a Burger Joe's location in Atlanta, Georgia and continues with on site training at your new franchise location. During your five day training in Atlanta you will become immersed in all aspects of running a Burger Joe's Takeout/Delivery franchise. We'll start with product/food familiarization, proper execution of Burger Joe's recipes and move into specific details in business operations.

Scheduling employees
Cross Training of employees
Motivation techniques

Cooking/Expediting subjects:

Prepping Burger Joe's way
Cooking Burger Joe's way
Make Stations Set Ups and Tear Downs (Burger, Salad, Chicken stations)
Proper sanitation techniques/handling/storing
Safety regulations

Delivery subjects:

POS training
First hand riding with drivers and learning all proper techniques
Cross training (including food prep, cleaning, grounds upkeep, etc.)
Map services
Bank card procedures for delivery
Check in and Check out delivery procedures
Scheduling of Drivers
How to 'Flyer' and other Driver marketing techniques

Food and Product subjects:

Weekly inventory
Quality Control
Theft and Waste controls (product portion controls and theft prevention)
POS assistance to assure success in waste and theft control

Equipment subjects:

Training on equipment including maintenance/breakdown/cleaning
Opening store and closing store procedures
Safety regulations

Employee/Customer Relations subjects:

Turning good customers into 'fans', fanatical about Burger Joe's
Manners 'do' count
Safe/Fun workplace

The new Franchisee is also equipped with a series of comprehensive operations, marketing, administration, recipes, cooking/prepping techniques, driver duties, cross training, management, and employee binders, which collectively are known and referred to as The Operational Manual. This Operations Manual is your resource for all training and techniques to support you. And our team of experts is as close as the phone.

This extensive training will allow you to recognize business and marketing opportunities, and feel confident in your position as a Burger Joe's Franchisee.
